Coverage is available on a worldwide basis for
both long and short term projects.
The Coverage is
typically used to insure companies filming boats, barges, and platforms
(docked or under way) as well as marinas, docks, wharves and piers.
These insurable exposures are excluded from the customary property and
casualty policies.
Of special note is the
fact that production personnel working on the water are not covered by
worker’s compensation but are subject to the Federal Jones Act. This
exposure is covered on a Protection & Indemnity policy.
